"Building" redirects here. For structures around Alpoko, see Category:Buildings.
Construction is a major gameplay mechanic in Little King's Story, which allows Corobo to reach new areas and traverse The World more easily.
Firstly, Corobo can only initiate the construction if he has the right Job. There are four jobs who can build, and they are all able to build any structure or material. They must be used to start the construction:
- Regular Carpenter (slow build speed)
- Mega Carpenter (average build speed)
- Giga Carpenter (fast build speed)
- Craftian (fast build speed)
After some of the construction is complete, scaffolding will be erected around the project. At this point, any job that can dig is able to aid construction by throwing materials to the builders. This will slightly speed up the construction process.
However, there are three jobs that will cause damage to the project, hindering its completion:
Some projects can be damaged by Corobo's scepter, and all projects can be damaged if attacked by an UMA.
Locations[]
Corobo can only enable construction if the materials are available in the area, as signified by a sign with a hammer, detailing the "Pending" project.

Trivia[]
- During development, citizens would have to build the buildings in Alpoko. This could be done by any citizen, not just Carpenters.
- It is suggested by several pieces of text in the game that Carpenters can only build select materials, such as Giga Carpenters being the only job that can construct metal. However, this is a scrapped mechanic from an earlier version of the game, and the text has not been updated to reflect the released version where all Carpenters can build all types of structures.
