The complete known History of the World of Little King's Story, compiled according to in-game sources. The exact order of events is an approximation.
Beginning of the World
The World itself is said to be several million years old. In the beginning, God began creating the World and the very first land within it. Upon this land, God made the first being within the World, a sentient pile of trash known as Jumbo Champloon. However, God left for a bathroom break midway through the creation of both this land and Champloon, and forgot to complete them. This first land was left as an isolated island apart from the rest of the lands that God created, remaining unfinished for millions of years.
God then created the rest of the lands of the World. He also created primitive life that lived within it, emerging from a land in the southwest. This new life included regular animals as well as a separate classification called Unidentified Mysterious Animals. Throughout the existence of the World, some regular lifeforms such as cows became UMA after consuming the fruit known as Janga Pickles.
Seven million years prior to the Little King's Story, an intergalactic war occurred between two factions of alien species from the upper and lower dimensions over the possession of the Diamond Egg. One of these alien groups was the Eggans, who secured the Diamond Egg in a final battle against the other aliens. The Eggans came to the World from outer space and established the Eggan Civilization. The Eggans discovered the primitive life and trapped monkeys within egg-like cages for research. After extensive experimentation, the monkeys were able to evolve into humans, who were so instilled with worry within the presence of the Eggans that they escaped and populated the lands of the World.
Rise of Kingdoms
Knowledge of the first land, the New Island, became a myth. Very few even knew of Champloon's presence there. The Craftian people emerged on the island and tasked themselves with its completion, with the hopes that it would become a finished kingdom in the future. It gained a reputation for being sacred to the history of the World, but also for being particularly dangerous to enter. Much later, Martel Daisy entered the land, fell into Champloon's body and became stuck.
The legendary Eggan Civilization fell and turned into ruins. Hundreds of years prior to the Little King's Story, the remaining land still populated by Eggans was converted into the Worrywart Kingdom under Omelet, a worrisome man who dedicated himself to aiding the Eggans in protecting the Diamond Egg from aliens coming to the World to look for it. A schoolgirl by the name of Shizuka Moroboboshi was also abducted by the Eggans in a UFO, and was given the task of nurturing the Diamond Egg as part of the Worrywart Kingdom's efforts to keep it safe. Omelet shut himself within an egg and hid from the rest of the World to philosophize alone.
At the sane time, an UMA species known as the Onii founded their own kingdom in the Dark Valley in the south of the World, ruled by the Onii King. The Onii built homes within the walls of the valley, establishing a strong presence in the area for hundreds of years. Around a century before the Little King's Story, Princess Apricot Fizz was kidnapped and trapped within an enchanted vase by the Onii. The Onii Kingdom later expanded into the Meadow over the Bridge and merged it into their domain.
The Kingdom of Alpoko was a small, poor village surrounded by forests where dangerous UMA roamed. The kingdom's citizens were notoriously lazy, lacking the abilities to work or fight. The kingdom fell into a desolate state, and the citizens were unable to stop UMA from taking over parts of their land, losing areas such as the Over-there Beach with time. The Alpokians also had a limited idea of how large the World really was, likely due to the immediate dangers that lay beyond the borders of the kingdom, which kept them so isolated from the rest of the World. The increasingly deteriorating nature of the kingdom prompted Howser Oreganostein the Bull Knight, an Alpokian, to search for a true ruler to save the kingdom from its many problems.
Long Sauvage met Ferne Branca at a bar where she rejected him due to his rudeness. Sauvage believed it must have been because he was not tall enough and kidnapped her while he became tall enough for her appeal. At some point, a cult-like gathering of Mounties formed around Mount Sobamanjaro, the tallest mountain in the World. The group believed that only those who were tall were great, and became soldiers for Sauvage, complete with different ranks. In his efforts to be tall enough impress Ferne, Long Sauvage stationed himself at the top of the mountain to make himself the tallest. He therefore became the leader of the Mounties, and the Tiptoe Kingdom was founded.
The southwestern land that was the source of early life in the World was later developed into a country made entirely out of desserts by Shishkebaboo. Under his rule, the land's sole purpose became a deposit of food for him to gorge on. Other citizens within the Ripe Kingdom were not allowed to eat Shishkebaboo's food, including his wife Monica Spumoni, which led to their divorce. Spumoni ate the food within the kingdom behind his back, causing her to become quite large and unable to escape a vase that he was storing food in.
TV Dinnah was a fan of TV from an early age, with the dream of running his own TV studio. Later, he stumbled across a desert-like wasteland in the northwest of the World and created a broadcasting studio known as the Primetime Kingdom. This popular television network broadcasted across the World, and TV Dinnah himself became a celebrity across many shows. The network produced a few shows for God himself, who loved TV. This fame and success caught the attention of his sister, Kokomo Pine. Dinnah told her he would one day make her a celebrity too, as long as she stayed out of his way and let him focus on his work, but he rarely kept his promises. This resulted in the king telling her she could have her own show as long as she locked herself away and took private lessons, which she agreed to.
The Kingdom of the Jolly was founded by Duvroc as a party grounds. Duvroc established a friendly diplomacy with the Onii King. Duvroc's drinking patterns created great disruption within his family, causing his daughter Scarlet Bouquet to hide herself from him for a long time and making his wife stay distant from him.
Little King's Story
While chasing away some rats that had invaded his home, Corobo Bred became deeply lost in a nearby forest. While in this forest, God sent Corobo a letter that directed him to a mysterious boulder and instructed him to break it to claim an immense power. Within this boulder was the Magic Crown, which granted Corobo the Power of Persuasion. This event was witnessed by Howser and his steed Pancho, along with Liam Rice and Verde Sous, two friends that Corobo had met in his childhood. Howser claimed that Corobo is the true king to the Kingdom of Alpoko, thus concluding his thirty-five year quest to find an heir for the lazy nation. A new calendar was also created for Alpoko to commemorate the day that Corobo rose to power. King Corobo began his reign by pulling spare money together to create workplaces, formed a Royal Guard and took back the land that was surrounding Alpoko by slaying the Cow Bones, a UMA which had stood as a legend within Alpoko for a while. Howser revealed to Corobo that his real plan for Alpoko was to take over the World, but was not aware of how large the World really was.
King Corobo attacked the Onii that lived over the river from the Alpoko Kingdom and took over the land, which had not been a part of the Onii Kingdom for a long time. The Onii King's existence was unknown to Corobo until he sent a letter to the young king demanding that he either return the stolen land to the Onii Kingdom or face him in battle. Corobo marched into the Onii Kingdom, defeated the Onii King in battle, saved Princess Apricot after a hundred years, and drove the Onii population out of their home in the Dark Valley. The land was then turned into a natural preserve where wild animals roam instead. While the Kingdom of Alpoko celebrated their victory, a letter from Pancho arrived showing that the World was actually much larger, which began Corobo's true quest for World Domination.
King Duvroc invited King Corobo to one of his famous beer garden parties. Corobo arrived in the Kingdom of the Jolly and Duvroc noticed that he did not appear to be there to have fun. Corobo beat the king up at his own party until he gets a call from his wife telling him to come home. Duvroc, inebriated, stumbled home and left the kingdom open for Corobo to take over. Corobo also found Bouquet hiding from her father and married her. The land became a Royal Arbor under the Kingdom of Alpoko, and Duvroc remained there, drinking alone and missing his daughter. A particularly strong earthquake occurs shortly afterwards.
King Shishkebaboo invited Corobo to a dinner in order to strengthen the relations between the Ripe and Alpoko Kingdoms. Corobo obliged, but discovered that he appeared to be on the menu. He and his men impaled Shishkebaboo with a fork and sent him careening into the sky like a balloon, leaving the kingdom open to taking. Corobo rescued Spumoni from where she was stuck and turned the kingdom into a public cafeteria. The World experiences a noticeable tremor while Alpoko is celebrating.
Concerned with the increasing occurrences of earthquakes, Alpokian astronomer Skinny Ray proposed to Corobo that they must invest in a method to travel beyond space itself and discover the cause of the tremors before it is too late. After a vote, Skinny Ray's proposal was dismissed, but he still continued to create his Flying Machine in his own time. More earthquakes occurred throughout Corobo's conquest, and Skinny Ray continued to demand action from the kingdom.
King Corobo was tricked into entering the Worrywart Kingdom by a letter from King Omelet wishing to discuss matters relating to fear and anxiety. Corobo arrived at the kingdom, only to be met by a cutout of himself at the entrance, forcing him to venture into the kingdom without his Royal Guard. Corobo found himself within a quiet maze where several anecdotes of an unknown person's life are hanging on the walls, detailing their worries and misfortunes from before birth to after death. Corobo reached the end of the maze and discovered a giant egg. While he was examining it, several Eggans emerged from the surrounding trees to accuse Corobo of being an illegal invader. Corobo became increasingly frustrated and punched the egg, causing it to crack open and reveal another egg underneath. Omelet's voice navigated Corobo through a quiz, and with each correct answer Corobo is able to uncover another layer of the egg. Eventually, Corobo got to the very core of the egg where Omelet was hiding, sitting on the toilet and worrying. He grilled Corobo on his true intentions as a king and why he feels the need to take over the entire World. He warned Corobo that, no matter how many doors he opens, there will always be another door awaiting him. Omelet handed the kingdom to Corobo, as long as he considered his actions. Corobo married Shizuka, taking the coveted Diamond Egg to Alpoko, increasing the amount of alien attention on the kingdom. The Worrywart Kingdom was turned into a public heritage site to remember the remnants of the ancient Eggan Civilization.
The Kingdom of Alpoko was issued a bill for not paying their TV license by the Primetime Kingdom. However, King TV Dinnah promised to cancel all fees if King Corobo appears on his channel and wins a game show. Corobo approached the Primetime Kingdom and was sucked into it. He fought TV Dinnah live on air and won, causing the studio to immediately cancel all broadcasting. The Kingdom of Alpoko then made the Broadcast Tower public and launched their own network: Alpoko Television. Corobo freed and married Kokomo Pine, and TV Dinnah became trapped underground, lonely and afraid, but still occasionally appeared on ATV as a presenter.
King Long Sauvage had stayed at the top of the mountain to maintain his position as the tallest for so long that his beard had since grown all the way down to the bottom of Sobamanjaro. He taunted King Corobo and the Kingdom of Alpoko for being much shorter than himself. Corobo arrived at the kingdom and registered himself and his Royal Guard as hikers so that they could climb the mountain. Despite Sauvage and the Mounties' best efforts to prevent the group from reaching the summit, Corobo and his men made it to the top and formed a human tower to make their king taller than Sauvage. Distraught with his loss, Sauvage went crazy, lost his beard, and stood on his hands, claiming that the World works backwards and that he was the true winner. Corobo married Ferne Branca and converted the mountain into a natural preserve.
When King Corobo built a bridge to access the legendary New Island, he was sent a letter written in the local language by Jumbo Champloon. Champloon appeared to be a fan of the king, but hated adults, wars and invaders. Corobo ignored this and ventured further into the kingdom, where the Craftians told him he was not welcome. He arrived at the southernmost point of the island, where an angered Jumbo Champloon emerged from a pile of trash and began a battle with him. Corobo decapitated Champloon, freed and married Martel, and turned the island into a Commemorative Park where the Alpokians would take over the Craftian's task of finishing the incomplete island.

King Corobo secured every previous kingdom's land under the Kingdom of Alpoko. However, during the celebration of his victory, a particularly devastating earthquake hit the World, broadcast by TV Dinnah. It is desperately decided that Corobo must aid Skinny Ray in the creation of the Flying Machine at all costs. Corobo's citizens sent him various hints that fell from the sky signed by God in order to find the right materials. Corobo excavated in the Valley of Memories, discovered the Onii Bride and slew her to retrieve the Omegaphone, a communications device. He defeated the Marble Dragon in the Royal Arbor to collect a particularly strong Wine Oil to use as a jet fuel, and defeated the Giant Zoeter in the Forest Cafeteria to collect a Cooling Fridge as a cooling device. Corobo listened to the pleas of Shizuka, who wished to talk to him next to the Alpoko River in the dead of night. She explained that she was not ready to give him the Diamond Egg to build the Flying Machine, as it had not yet hatched and several aliens were looking for it. Eventually it does and Corobo gathers the remaining eggshell for reinforced plating. A new Diamond Egg was laid the next day, and Shizuka took it upon herself to nurture it as she did with the previous one. Corobo raided a HDTV from the Broadcast Tower for communications purposes, one which TV Dinnah was planning on replacing his head with before it was taken. Corobo took some of Long Sauvage's leftover beard from the forest behind Sobamanjaro for wiring, as well as the giant Propeller from the remains of Jumbo Champloon's body in order to make the Flying Machine fly. The Flying Machine is unveiled to the Alpokian public. Corobo and his Royal Guard were preparing for liftoff when Pancho arrived on the scene to deliver several letters: a resignation letter from Minister Verde and seven divorce papers from the princesses. Corobo chose his one true love and the two board the Flying Machine along with the Royal Guard. It launched into space and flew past many obstacles in orbit until it reached a black hole. The Machine went through the hole and lost contact briefly until it finally left the edges of the universe and arrived in a realm beyond known as the World of God. After exploring this realm for some time, Corobo's wife was taken away by a shadowy, eldritch being. The being reveals itself to the Devil, the leader of a family of four giant rats, who are all responsible for causing the constant tremors in the World. After almost losing his life to this creature, Corobo received encouragement from Alpoko through the communications device and battled the monsters one by one with the help of his Royal Guard. During the fight, the World took a lot of damage, and its end seemed almost inevitable. Furthermore, Corobo's wife was eaten whole, and he lost communications with his home. He eventually killed the three underlings and downed the leader of the pack, causing God to awaken from his bed and throw the creature out of a nearby window. Corobo ran from God, only to be cornered, and the two met face to face for the first time. Corobo and his wife returned home safely, and God fixed the damage caused to the World in the battle.
