The Onii Metal (オニーメタル, Onīmetaru) is an Onii that excels at fast movements and attacks.

Attacks

The Onii Metal dashes away from citizens when targeted for attack, causing citizens to frequently miss. The Onii Metal is also immune to arrows. Special attacks from Hardened Soldiers, the Steel Knight and Brainy Doctor are more likely to hit due to these citizens' abilities allowing them to dive towards it.

The Spanish version is a portmanteau of demonio, meaning "demon" which used for Onii, and termómetro, "thermometer". This could be in reference to the way the UMA lights itself on fire when attacking.

Trivia

• The UMA Book describes this enemy as only appearing in the afternoon, despite appearing at the Boney Tunnel Entrance at all times of day.
• Since this UMA is a metal version of the common mascot mook of the game, it could be a possible homage to the Metal Slimes from the Dragon Quest series.
