Icon for the Modified Podium
The Podium is an ability in Little King's Story that enables more efficient management of the Royal Guard.
To unlock the Podium, Corobo must increase the Population of the Kingdom of Alpoko to 15. Doing so will list "Podium Placement" under the Special tab in the Kingdom Plan for 500,000. Once Corobo has reached a Population of 30, "Modify Podium" will become available for 3100,000 which, after purchase, adds the Citizen List option to the existing Podium.
Once purchased, the crown symbol outside Alpoko Castle will glow: this is the Podium. For the first two Castle forms it appears at the end of a red carpet leading from the Castle entrance, and for the third Castle it appears on the balcony in front of the door to Corobo's bedroom. Pressing A while standing atop the Podium will bring up a list of available options.
Podium Commands
Citizen List
Available after Modify Podium has been purchased. A list of all citizens in the Kingdom will appear, detailing their name, job, HP, whether they are part of the Royal Guard, and what Treasure (Weapon or Armor) they currently have equipped. From here, Corobo can assign or remove Guard Badges from citizens, and equip or remove their Weapons or Armor.
Royal Guard
This will summon the last used Royal Guard to the Podium. Corobo may either choose to hire the entire party or select Confiscate Badges, which will effectively reset the Royal Guard.
Battle Team
Calls forward all Grunt Soldiers, Hardened Soldiers and the Steel Knight.
Construction Team
Calls forward all Regular Carpenters, Mega Carpenters and Giga Carpenters.
Trump Card Team
Calls forward all Animal Hunters, Gourmet Cooks and Savvy Merchants.
Cultivation Team
Calls forward all Hardworking Farmers, Buff Lumberjacks and Ripped Miners.
Helper Team
Calls forward the Eggan, Broadcaster, Mountie and Craftian.
